Legacy Leaders & Chapter Development Program

This September, AWV is hosting our first annual Leaders’ Summit in beautiful Ketchum, Idaho and the Sawtooth Wilderness. The Leaders’ Summit is bringing together sixteen strong leaders from the American Women Veterans community for coaching, camaraderie, and planning in preparation for the launch of the first AWV Chapters. By blending outdoor activities with structured training sessions and speaking engagements, the AWV Leaders’ Summit focuses on self-care, peer support, and community engagement. These hand-selected “Legacy Leaders” will return home with plans, goals, and a support network to better Serve, Honor and Empower (SHE) veterans.

While we have received a generous grant from REI through their “Force of Nature” campaign, we are still seeking $10,000 in funding to help make the Leaders’ Summit a success.
